The Junior's skirt felt uncomfortably short. Her step mom had bought it for her from some place in L.A. Leave it to Linda to dress the girl like a total prostitute! Sarah hated that woman. Even if she did say that the skirt 'complimented her figure', it was still unruly and unjust to her personality. Tugging it to the middle of her thigh, the girl waited in the halls for her tour guide. Someone to show her the ropes, strings, threads, whatever.
Wipping her side bangs from her face, Hudgens kept a firm grip of her skirt hem with her other hand as a few boys went by. They looked at her and laughed. One was dragged away by the collar like he was some sort of dog. "Ow, ow!" Yelled another and they turned the corner in a noisey fashion. Being the new girl drew in a lot of attention...
(Blah, couldn't think.)

Clark, as usual was late for class. Clark was always late for class, it was one of them things. But it wasn’t every class, just the first period seeing as he had a tendency to miss the school bus in a morning and run to school. Sometimes he got there before the bus, other times he got there as it arrived. But today, he’d slept way past the bus, and it was only the tipping of a bucket of water on his head that woke him up.
So, it was only fair that she should be a little late for taking the new kid round school. He usually got this job, of giving tours to the new students that seemed to arrive almost every day. They just kept turning up, and he guessed that was how Smallville’s population rocketed. The meteors had nothing to do with it. Ha.
Running up another flight of stairs, he caught sight of a girl who looked uncomfortable and was stood a long in the halls. Bingo. He headed over, his bag over his shoulder and smiled. ‘Sarah right?’

Sarah right?
He had rushed up the stairs right infront of her. He was cute, but probably had a girlfriend. The thought of moving in on another girls man made Sarah back up a little. She wouldn't make a bad reputation for herself on the first week of school.
Adjusting her purse on her shoulder, Sarah nodded at the boy. Looking up at him in his eyes the girl just realized how short 5'4" really was. Hands shoved in her pockets of her mini jean skirt, long hair tied up in a ponytail.
"Yeah, that's me." She said then looked him over. He was so...different. Yet she could quite put her finger on the kind of different he was. It was a good difference from other boys, one that said he would do something great later in his life.

He smiled. ‘Guessed as Much, you looked a little, out of place.’ As her eyes looked him over, his own eyes glanced down over her pretty frame. If she was single, then she wasn’t about to stay that way for long. ‘Right, ok, I was supposed to say something.’ He smiled, well smirked, this was the cheesy bit that all the ‘tour guides’ had to say to their ‘tour-ees’ ‘Right, I’m Clark, I’ll be your guide for today, and welcome to Smallville high.’ There, that bit at least was over and done with.
‘So, err, sorry about yesterday, I never got the memo, someone shoved it through my locker this morning instead of yesterday morning, and got your starting dates mixed up.’ He explained, really sorry for abandoning her yesterday. He hadn’t meant to, and what he had said at least, was the truth. It wasn’t often that he could tell the truth to people, about where he had been, how he had gotten somewhere so fast, so it was nice to be able not to lie once in a while.
‘So, what period have you got first? I’ll walk you over, and meet you outside after class ok?’

She tugged on her skirt again as he said she looked out of place. Great. Her face turned only a slight shade of red and her head turned away. He was really cute and it killed her inside. Hands were playing with some change in her pockets now; after gaining back a normal colored face Sarah looked back up. "Story of my life." She said with a small smile. She always had felt out of place.
When he introdused himself, she smirked and watched as he went through the whole tour guide thing. He was quite good at this. It's almost as if it was his job here at school. The 5 minute bell rang as soon as he was finished talking. She had been looking into his gorgeous eyes for so long that she barely managed to understand what he was saying. Thankfully she just ripped out her schedual at randome and handed it over to Clark.
"I have math first..." She said with a grimace then looked around as peple swarmed into their classrooms. "It's in room 101." Suddenly she got it. She wasn't good at math... and they put her in 101. Oh, wow, how akward...

Clark smiled, no he didn’t laugh, or smirk, just smiled at the girls mistake. He had made it often enough himself, ye Clark wasn’t exactly a maths whizz. ‘Don’t worry about it.’ He said, grinning, ‘everyone makes that mistake at least once. Maths is just up here.’ He headed off down the corridor, towards the maths classroom, and maths 101.
Clark of course, didn’t have Maths now but Biology, but he didn’t mind being late. It was just, well, Clark to be late to lessons, and at least this time he had an excuse. Not that she was just an excuse, but it’s better than, err...I was in the bathroom or something.
Stopping outside of one of the blue doors, he smiled. ‘Okay, this is you. I will meet you out here after class, ready for your next period, and then I do believe it will be lunch.’ He said smiling. Oh yes, he had been really late this morning.

Yeah, she supposed he was right, but her face still flushed a little bit of red. Sarah dropped her gaze to her shoes then looked back up. He spoke once more, only this time he was giving directions. She didn't mind, she'd follow him anywhere in this jungle. The small girl trusted him like a big brother almost.
‘Okay, this is you. I will meet you out here after class, ready for your next period, and then I do believe it will be lunch.’
She nodded and started to walk into the room. 101, huh? Her brown eyes looked around at all of the people she didn't know. Looking back at Clark, Sarah didn't really want to leave her only 'friend'...or close to one. "Ok, I'll...seya then..." She said with a fake smile then walked in. Her books were tucked tight across her chest as if she expected someone to knock them on the ground. Lashes flickered as her eyes scoped the room. Some cute guys, some girls like her, and some sl*ts. Nothjing out of the ordinary. Then the emo kid in the back of the room just sat there, earphones in under his hoodie. Just like the movies...
"Hey, look at the new girl. She's f*cking hawt!" One of the guys whispered to his friend. His girlfriend slapped him and started yelling. The teacher was no where to be seen, and Sarah already felt as if she was bored out of her mind. Yet, that wouldn't last. Soon a few jocks came up to her...
