Chloe grinned. Now she was on the possible scent of a story, she was well and truly in journalist mode. ‘Great’ she said, smiling at the girl as she headed back into the school, towards her ‘office’. To Chloe, The Torch was like a second home.
‘Ever done anything like this before?’ she asked, making conversation as she led her up a flight of stairs and down one of the locker lined corridors towards the blur door that was the entrance. Putting her keys inside the lock, she turned and opened the door, allowing Sarah to enter first. ‘Welcome, to my second home.’ She said smiling.
The room itself was painted in the schools colours, a huge crow on one wall, and the wall of weird another. There were three desks, each with a green computer, and each with a Torch screensaver. Sitting down at one of the desks, hers, she clicked the mouse, brining up the schools announcements, records, that sort of thing. She clicked open another box, the memos that had been sent today.

‘Ever done anything like this before?’
Chloe questioned her as they bustled around in the nearly empty hallways. Shje wanted to say 'yes' and tell her about her Nancy Drew obsession, but Sarah decided it was probably best not to bring that up to the editor of the school paper.
"Not really." She lied with a shrug and glanced at two people kissing, no, eating each others faces. Tongue stuck out in a grimace as Sarah got a little closer to Chloe. This place was interesting.
Finally they turned into the room that had school spirit on every wall. ‘Welcome, to my second home.’ It looked like someone had eaten a bunch of school colors then threw them up... in a good way. Her chocolate eyes widened as she saw all of the equipment in there that they used for the Newspaper. It was so cluttered with all papers, notes, and pens with their caps off.
"Wow, nice place." She said with a grin, starting to warm up to Chloe now.
